Petite Acres is 18 plus acres with old oak trees and native pecan trees that provide shade for our small herd of 20-25 miniature horses. We are located west of Houston, Texas, a short distance off Interstate 10 in Weimar, Texas. We purchased our first miniature horse at a silent auction benefiting the Quarter Horse Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 1999. Fell in love and went on to purchase miniature horses from farms in Florida, Lufkin, Texas, the Hill Country and the Houston area.

A gelding, CVF Cherokee Brave purchased in Florida went on to place in the Top Ten (9th place) at the AMHA Nationals our first year in Amateur Country Pleasure Driving Level 1. A senior stallion, Grosshill EKS Painted Illusion purchased in the Hill Country in 2001 has proven to be a "great" producer of color for the farm. (As noted on the photo above.) Illusion was Reserve National Grand Champion Senior Stallion and was a Multi Top Ten Winner during his show career. He has produced color, color, and more color! Fantasia Farms Heza Royal Doulton (the mini purchased at the silent auction) has proven to be an excellent driving horse, also.
